Kate has been a dedicated yoga practitioner since 2004, and an instructor since 2012. What began as a supplement to her competitive dancing quickly transformed into something more meaningful. Through yoga she developed a connection with her body and mind that changed her experience and outlook on life. She passionately pursued her training to become an instructor in 2012, and has completed over 1200 hours in hatha, vinyasa, yin, and more modern schools of yoga. She considers her education in the study of yoga to be lifelong and continues to train under the guidance of her teachers. Being a faithful student is the most cherished part of her study and she considers it the key to being an honest practitioner and teacher. Accessibility and inclusivity are strong values which she insists in the tradition and art of yoga. She integrates Ayurveda and behavioral therapy into her daily practice and teaching.
